We typically holding bottle drives in the fall and spring. On the day of the drive, bring your empty cans, bottles and jugs to the Woodlands School parking lot and we’ll take care of those for you!

Your child’s artwork can become something you treasure for years to come!
We take a special piece of artwork your child makes in the classroom, and have it professionally transformed into a variety of keepsake products, such as ornaments, pillows and more.

Three times a year, we bring a little extra sweetness to the school while raisin funds for out students.
Our Fall, Winter and Spring treat fundraisers offer students and families the chance to purchase something sweet or salty, like cookies, donuts, pretzels, popcorn and more.
Keep an eye out for order forms and announcements throughout the year.

Get your grill ready!
Each spring, we partner with a local provider to offer boxes filled with with 24 high-quality cuts of steak. It’s a great way to stock up for BBQ season.

Our next casino will take place in the 2027/28 school year.
This event generates tens of thousands of dollars in revenue that goes directly back to supporting the school over the next few years!

Healthy Hunger
Take a break from making those school lunches! A few times a year, we offer special fun lunches for kids. To sign-up:
Create your account at healthyhunger.ca.
Add your child(ren) under “Settings > Add/Manage Students”. Remember to select Woodlands School and the correct teacher and grade they’re in.
Select “Order lunches”
You’ll see a list of upcoming lunch dates and the partner restaurant. Place and pay for your orders.
On the day, we’ll pick-up everyone’s orders and have them ready for your kids just before their lunch break at school.
While we do our best to select vendors who offer a variety of options, unfortunately we can’t always accommodate all dietary requirements.

If you’d rather not hold onto your bottles and cans until our next bottle drive, you can still support us using SkipTheDepot.
Download or sign-up for a SkipTheDepot account and schedule a pick-up.
The morning of your pick-up day, put your bags outside. Use the directions area in the app to let the driver know where to find them.
They’ll send you a breakdown of everything counted, followed by your deposit within 48 hours. Donate it to Woodlands School (Calgary)!
Donate with Benevity
Many workplaces offer donation and matching programs through Benevity, allowing employees to give to registered non-profits. If your company participates, you can now look up Woodlands School Council and make a donation—some employers will even match your contribution, doubling your impact!
