2025/26 Fundraisers

  • We typically holding bottle drives in the fall and spring. On the day of the drive, bring your empty cans, bottles and jugs to the Woodlands School parking lot and we’ll take care of those for you!

  • A fan favourite! Make your home feel (and smell) joyful and bright! Order poinsettias, wreaths, and festive arrangements from Growing Smiles. 

    Sales begin: Mid-October 2025

  • Get your chance to win some extra cash for the holidays.

    Tickets go on sale beginning October 23 through December 18, 2025. Winners will be notified shortly following the draw.

  • Our next casino will take place February 22 and 23, 2026! This event generates tens of thousands of dollars in revenue that goes directly back to supporting the school over the next few years! 

    We require a lot of volunteers to run this important event. Learn more and sign-up on our Woodlands Casinos page.

  • Skip the garden centre or big box hardware store. We’re partnering with Growing Smiles to offer a variety of beautiful plants, including patio planters, hanging baskets, ferns, geraniums, petunias, marigolds, assorted herbs and veggies, and more!

Healthy Hunger

Take a break from making those school lunches! A few times a year, we offer special fun lunches for kids. To sign-up:

  1. Create your account at healthyhunger.ca. 

  2. Add your child(ren) under “Settings > Add/Manage Students”. Remember to select Woodlands School and the correct teacher and grade they’re in. 

  3. Select “Order lunches” 

  4. You’ll see a list of upcoming lunch dates and the partner restaurant. Place and pay for your orders. 

On the day, we’ll pick-up everyone’s orders and have them ready for your kids just before their lunch break at school.

While we do our best to select vendors who offer a variety of options, unfortunately we can’t always accommodate all dietary requirements.

SkipTheDepot

If you’d rather not hold onto your bottles and cans until our next bottle drive, you can still support us using SkipTheDepot.

  1. Download or sign-up for a SkipTheDepot account and schedule a pick-up.

  2. The morning of your pick-up day, put your bags outside. Use the directions area in the app to let the driver know where to find them.

  3. They’ll send you a breakdown of everything counted, followed by your deposit within 48 hours. Donate it to Woodlands School (Calgary)!
